Onek onek deen por ajke DA te login korlam... Infact I haven't been on DA for like months now... Haha even managed to forget my password... had to do a password recovery. Anyways... how's everyone? I have been sorta good... in fact been through a lot in the last few months... Changed life, changed cities more importantly changed myself somewhat. All for the good of course.

I am living in Chester now... Its like near Wales... almost the same distance from Liverpool and Manchester... its a great city and I am loving it here. Found the most wonderful person in the world by my side and everything seems great... except for the fact that I am completely jobless! Getting work is proving to be a pretty difficult challenge.

I have been really out of it last couple a weeks... but few new things have come around:

** I haven't bought a new camera yet so still taking snaps with my w850i.

** Playing MMO games a lot... first started with Hero Online, then moved to Legend of Ares and now playing World of Warcraft... and loving it too.

** We got a Xbox 360 with XBOX Live Gold + PES 6 + Dead Rising + PGR 3.

** Got a Samsung 26" HDTV to go with it...

** I am getting my ass kicked every time I have played Street Fighter II on XBOX Live Arcade...

** And I have acquired The Replacements (The movie) once again.

** Listening to Sister Hazel's Chasing Daylight Album and New Found Glory's Coming Home.

yeah I think that sums it all up more or less...

I am bit down with some problems with my courses... some problems in my life... and so on... Last couple of weeks I been missing Dhaka a lot... I dunno its kinda weird I guess... Its not that I am homesick or anything... its not even that life in Dhaka was breathtakingly amazing over the vacation... in fact I was looking forward to getting back to my life in UK... but things are much simpler when I am in Dhaka... in some ways atleast... I dont even know why I am missing home this much and thats bothering me even more. I dont like loosing control over myself and lately thats what keeps happening.

Anyways... Since I am down the only logical thing to do right now is waste some money on stuff that I could easily get by without. Hmmm... I am broke but I guess I can push the credit card one last time. I am a bit excited about this. At first I was thinking about going straight for a Digital SLR but to my utter disappointment I have come to accept that its way out of my reach for now. So I am going for something more within my limits.

These are the cameras that I have my eyes set on.
Sony CyberShot H2
Kodak Z650
Fuji FinePix S5600

I would be really grateful if someone with some experience with any of the above cameras could lend me a word of advice...

At first I really wanted to get the Sony DSC H2 but I was browsing through some sample shot and I think it doesnt handle subject at a distance that well at high rez. The 12X optical zoom was indeed tantalizing but meh! Kodak Z650 and FinePix S5600 are comparable but the FinePix is cheaper BUT the bugger uses xD cards... but I might go for the FinePix regardless... the specs are really good on it... and I think I am getting a good bargain for 150 odd quids.

P.S. The journal title has nothing to do with the journal... I couldnt think up anything and I am listening to Third Eye Blind (3EB) a lot these days. So...

Well ummm lets see where to start. Like I mentioned earlier I am back from Bangladesh. My housemates here apparently got a better offer on house rentals (which basically means better house at the same rent ) and decided to move while I was in Bangladesh. Well I love the new house actually... I have a HUGE room... and by huge I really mean HUGE!

My laptop died in Dhaka... it was its time anyways... it had served me well but its demise wasnt expected... anywhoo, I got a more or less powerful desktop and I am quite happy with it... I got a 19" TFT screen to go with it which I swapped with my friend for his 19" CRT (I love CRTs, dont know why)... and above all I finally have a huge study table... I hate small tables, my table top is my own personal world and I dont like it being small... All I need to do now is to get this huge ass projector off my table... its hogging up all my space... I HATE IT!

I am listening to FUEL a lot these days... They are awesome... My anthem for now is FUEL - FALLS ON ME... awesome song... ICONS has taken a backseat for a while... I am in the mood for some english alternatives...

Well ummm... am back from Dhaka... its been awesome, annoying, busy, hot, tiring, relaxing and SHORT . Well I shouldnt be complaining really... anyways... maybe I will write abt the trip more in a later entry... dont feel like it right now... I am back in UK and thats abt that...

My laptop is dead! so I officially dont have a computer... which blows! it could have been ok if only my roommate wouldnt be as equally an internet-o-holic (???) as me! I forgive him!

Watched Nicholas Cage's The Wickerman. The movie was freakily weird and ummm I didnt really like it...
